SO, LET’S EXPLAIN A BIT ONCE AGAIN…

1. IN ORDER TO DOWNGRADE PSP PHAT OR PSP SLIM YOU NEED PSP FAT THAT IS DOWNGRADED
2. THEN YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD DESPERTAR CEMENTARIO AT LEAST VERSION 5 OR 6 BUT ON THIS PAGE IS ALREADY LINK FOR VERSION 7 – SO PLEASE FIND IT SOMEWHERE ON PAGE “NEED HELP!”
3. FORMAT MEMORY STICK STICK
4. READ INSTUCTIONS FOR DESPERTAR CEMENTARIO AND AS WRITTEN PUT FILES ON MEMORY STICK WHERE THEY BELONG
5. FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM DC7 MAKE MAGIC STICK AND PANDORA BATTERY

WHEN YOU DO THAT THEN:

1. REMOVE THESE TWO THING FORM THE PSP THAT YOU USED FOR MAKING THEM
2. FIRST – PUT MAGIC STICK IN PSP THAT NEEDS TO BE DOWNGRADED AND THEN PANDORA BATTERY
3. FOLLOW THE INSTURCTIONS ON THE PSP SCREEN

HOPEFULLY IF YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING GOOD YOU WILL HAVE DOWNGRADED PSP.

This program is designed to prepare your PSP Memory Stick to be used with the Pandora Battery. Unfortunately this program can not change your Battery to Pandora, however it will copy programs to the Memory Stick in order for you to do this yourself.

What’s New:
UMDumper has now been removed from the Support Tools, and UMDrip has been put in its
places. FuSa SD and Hold+ were also updated to their latest versions.

Requirements:
– A PC with Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista and .NET Framework v2.0.
– A PSP with USB Cable and 1.50 or 3.xx/4.xx/5.xx M33 Custom Firmware Installed. (This is needed for creating the Pandora Battery, not the Memory Stick).
– The official Sony Firmware EBOOT files for 1.50, 3.71, 3.80, 3.90, 4.01, and 5.00.

What it does:
– Formats your PSP Memory Stick with or without MSPFormat.
– Installs the TimeMachine IPL to the Memory Stick.
– Checks the Internet for any new versions.
– Loads and Saves Configurations.
– Allows you to select which buttons to use to boot your PSP.
– Copy Official Firmwares 1.50, 3.71, 3.80, 3.90, 4.01, and 5.00 to your PSP.
– Installs jas0nuk’s Pandora ELF+PBP Menu to access all the programs.
– Installs Hellcats Pandora Installer to your PSP.
– Installs the M33 1.50 Kernel Addon Installers to your PSP.
– Installs POPSLoader (3.30, 3.40, 3.51, 3.72, 3.80, 3.90, 4.01) to your PSP.

How to use it:
1. Start the Application and load in the Eboot files.
2. Select your PSP Drive to be formatted and prepared.
3. Select the “Installation Options” and choose the installers, programs,
and other options you would like to do to your Memory Stick.
4a.(Optional) If you selected to install the XMB or Pandora Support Tools,
you will need to go to the “Support Tools Options” tab and select the
programs that you want to install.
4b.(Optional) Go back to the “Firmware+Pandora Options” and use the Pandora
Button Configurator to set up the buttons to your liking.
5. Press the “Start” button to start formatting and copying files to your PSP.

    You Prob sick of people asking the same thing BUT,
    I have old Fat psp with 5.02 im waiting for my pandora batt and memmory stick to come and wondering if i need a second psp as i dont have or know where to even get one to put cfw on my fat psp..
    any help would be great!!!

    P.S. Can you also let me know what cfw i need on the mem stick to make it work..

    you don’t need another psp becouse you said that you are waiting pandora battery and memory stick to come…
    when you get your stick see what is on it. then contact me…if it is something other then cfw m33 for example it has to be some of the cfw version m33 like 3.80m33 or higher version.

    I currently have 5.02 ofw on my slim. I’m also waiting for my pandora battery and MMS which come with 5.00 m33-3 on it. But I want the latest cfw since the new cfw 5.00 m33-4 came out, so what do I need to do to make it a m33-4?

    first downgrade to m33-3 then connect your psp with wifi internet and update it to m33-4, if you can’t do that then download m33-4 form this page and put it on memory stick in psp->game->update folder and run it.

  5. I was just curious as to why you need a psp fat to do the downgrade. Is there not a way to create the magic memory stick without using the fat psp? I’ve found several tutorials for making a magic memory stick and pandora battery, but will those work in this same instance. I have a slim psp 2001 is what it has on the bar code, and I have the 5.02 OFW. I just want to switch to any custom firmware that will allow me to play my backed up games from the memory stick. I’ve read all of the tutorials that I’ve found as far as doing this, and the only a few reference needing a fat psp already modded in order to do this. Am I missing something or are the other methods of making a magic memory stick not viable? Does the same go with the pandora battery? I’m sure these questions have been asked in a different manner before, but for some reason none of them seem to apply (at least not in any sense I can make) to downgrading the slim. Thanks for your time.

    for making only magic stick you can use psp slim also but it needs to be downgraded so that you can load software that needs to make ipl file. in order to make pandora battery you need battery from psp fat becouse it is the only battery which can be used as pandora battery, slim battery does not have that option – it is different -, basecly you do not need psp fat to make thoese two things, all you need is origianal fat battery, memory stick and downgraded psp – it doesn’t matter it can be slim or fat.

  7. i have psp2006 slim and accidentally upgraded to 5.02. Now it cannot read the games installed. how can I downgrade from 5.02 to my original firmware? thanks

    in order to downgrade your psp slim 2006 you need to have original fat battery – for making pandora battery – and one memory stick so that you can make so called magic stick. in order to make those two things you need to find despertar cementario v7 on this site or to use pandora deluxe 2.8 software. those two softwares have readme inside the folder so you can easily follow those instructions and make magic stick and pandora battery… ohh, i almost forgot in order to run dc7 you need to have/borrow psp that is already downgraded so that it can run these files on psp.

    pandora battery is original sony fat battery from psp fat version but it is modificated in software way not hardware – but it can be modificated in hardware way also but no one recomends that way of making panodra battery. it is used for downgrading psp so it can run cfw. and yes you really need it for installing cfw.

Ok so pspdowngmaster, I was able to create the MMS and to downgrade OFW 5.02, and all I have is my stock lock and barrel psp 2001 (which I am told is the slim)I used a youtube video to hardmod the battery, and made the magic memory stick using a guide I found as well, the guide included all the files needed to make the MMS, and instructions on how to do so using windows xp cmd prompt. If you like I can link to the video and guide for others to use as I know this whole process took me some time to finally understand. I was on OFW 5.02 when I started and I am now on CFW 3.71 M33-2, getting ready to upgrade it to the 5.00 M33 CFW. Please let me know if I can be of any help đŸ™‚

    sorry you can’t watch iso or mp4 movies on psp eighter if you don’t have cfw on your psp….only videos that you can watch are from umd’s that again you need to buy.

    I have a problem here, like others i accidentally upgrade my cfw to ofw(5.02)
    Now i cannot play my cso/iso games. i dont know wad despertar cementario v7 n magic stick but i have the idea wads a pandora battery. I am not from USA so i dont know where i can purchase pandora battery. You say that i can make a old fat psp battery to a pandora battery but i cannot have the software as i cannot download the PANDORA DELUX 2.8 file. And how do i make a magic stick? N is my psp ver motherboard new? coz i knw tat if its new it cannot be downgrade.
    Or i have to juz wait for a new custom filmware to be release fro v5.02?

    yes you can make pandora battery from old fat original battery. sorry i really didn’t underastand the part “..fat psp battery to a pandora battery but i cannot have the software as i cannot download the PANDORA DELUX 2.8 file.” i am guessing that you ask sth like …. i can’t download pandora deluxe becouse i don’t have cfw….you can download pandora deluxe to your pc…that is not a problem…. there is old my tutorial on downgrading psp to 3.71m33 cfw …. there you will find how to make magic stick and pandora battery.i don’t know if your motherboard is new…..if you have psp fat then you can downgrade it….and it doesn’t really matter what motherboard vesion you have in your psp becouse you already had cfw on it as i can presume becouse you said “…I have a problem here, like others i accidentally upgrade my cfw to ofw(5.02). Now i cannot play my cso/iso games”

  22. over 5.02 ofw you can put any cfw you want from 3.71m33 to the new one cfw 5.00m33-4. there is no cfw 5.02 if you were thinking of that.

    I am a total newb when it comes to this, however I have attempted to do my research and have found some disappointing answers thus far. I have a PSP 3000 series and everything standard (i.e. battery and memory stick). Upon purchase I was unaware of “moding” at first and let the system do its upgrades (currently at Version 5.02). I have no pandora batteries and dont know anyone else with a modded PSP. Am I stuck without either of the 2?

    I have got my pandora & Magic Stick but unable to get the pandora to work i put it in green light comes on but nothing else happens the screen does not power up not sure if its a bad battery or not… I have a fat psp-1002 with ver 5.02 not to sure whats on the magic stick both came from Hong Kong any help would be great..

    I did try that & every other way i can think of trying, holding down L, R, both together just the green light & no power to the screen at all not sure if its the psp or me! is there any other way to try?

    I have a piano black slim psp 2003, I also have a pandora’s battery and magic memory stick.

    I put emory stick in first, then pandora’s battery, but nothing happens. The green power light comes on but the screen does not power up.

    I know the pandora’s battery and mms is working as I used it on another identical model psp.

    Both Psp’s were running ofw 5.02.

    Do you have any suggestions to overcome the blank screen business.

    I have done an update on my PSP to a version 5.02 and now my games that I had transfered to my ISO FILE doesnt work any more. My memory stick is being filled up by space and when I decide to open my “GAME” folder on my PSP , I find that ” THERE ARE NO GAMES ”

    could you advise me and tell me what had happend!

    I really dont know what to do!!!

    you have upgraded to ofw. now you have to do downgrade of you psp so that you could play iso games. in order to do downgrade you need to have panodra battery and magic stick. how to make pandora battery and magic stick you can find HERE, HERE AND HERE.   43. hi, look i dont have an fat psp battery. I want to downgrade my psp soz i can play the games that I downloaded on my memory stick. I followed some steps on a yuyorial thing and this is what it said:
    1. download the easy installer:
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/0mob1d
    2. extract archive.
    You will get these files….
    2.71_TA-082_-_1.50.exe
    README_DE
    README_ENG_ORIGINAL_DARK_ALEX
    TA-082_Downgrader.pngfile.
    3. format Memory Stick and restore the psp to defualt settings.
    4.run the installer and it will install everything on to your MS including HEND.
    5. once its finshed, navigate to the PHOTO section in the XMB and load HEND —>
    NOT it may not load the first time so restart and try again. Make sure you have no UMD inserted when doing this!

    6. Once its loaded (the psp will restart automaticly –> this means it loaded HEND) go to GAME in the XMB and load/start idstoragechange.

    (this program just changes some keys ^^)

    7. Once this program is done and loads your XMB again, go back to the GAME menu an dyou will see your Generic downgrader called “Update X.YX”
    Load/start this.

    8.This will now insatll the 1.5 FW onto your psp. when its doen it sould ask you to press “x” were it will restart the psp an dyou will get a BSOD.
    Simple press “o”
    Enter your information and voila, 1.5 FW!

    Specs^^

    ATLEAST 75% battery (90+ to be safe)
    formatted MS
    2.71 TA-082 psp

    I understoud everything until number 4, the one that says run the installer etc.
    can u explain to me each of the rest of the steps pls.

    i have a psp 2003 slim & lite with a firmwire of ofw 5.02, i have been trying everything to downgrade my psp. i have created many mms however the pandora battery just stays blank eventhough i hold L it stil stays blank. i think the problem is the files i have on the mms because the pandora battery works with my brothers psp slim. can you give me a link where i can download the correct files to downgrade my psp slim

  67. ok heres some question i have hope you can help me.my psp is running a filmware 3.72 and its not custom.but i wanna get m33 do i need a pandora battery and mem stick or is there another way? btw after i get m33 i want to upgrade to 5.02 m33 because of a game i bought called prinny can i really be the hero and i need filmware 5.02 to play it.anyways please reply as soon as possible thank you

  68. i have a psp slim 2003, and i have a pandora battery, when i downloaded pandora delux 2.8 but it did not work on my psp, im wasnt thatsure of what to do exactly, but once i downloaded it, i ran the program and selected my drive E:/ where the psp was connected to via usb cable. Once i staredt it, i didnt make changes except for format and prepare memory stick, basically the three options near the start button, i was not sure what it did but i did that. Then when it finished installing , i opened my psp and loaded the program in games, but it said corrupt data, i am really struggling so i could use the help, thanks and i heard u were THE MAN

    I was last on this website site a few yrs ago, you help me out alot with my psp cfw problems. Recently i have taken interest back in my psp, i have lastest iso’s but running only cfw 4.01 m33-2, as understandably most dont work, be is there any way i could downgrade the iso’s to be compatable with my psp cfw?
